Volunteers will assist with traffic direction and first aid. You will need a traffic vest, wand, and small first aid kit. We will use public safety radios for communication. Volunteers should be on scene by 1645 at the Milton Police Department for a 1700 briefing. Additional details will be emailed out ahead of the event.
Due to liability concerns, minors (children under 18) are not permitted to volunteer or accompany our CERT volunteers during events. With any event we work, please make sure to bring necessary personal items such as hydration, snacks, sunscreen, chairs or any other items you may need for the incident (traffic vests, etc.) While we strive to have supplies at each event, please be prepared in case something comes up that prevents your access to these supplies at the event.
